About Texas Custom Pool Builders

Published by Texas Cornell Publishing Group

Texas Custom Pool Builders is published by Texas Cornell Publishing Group, where the rule is simple: what we publish has to be useful the moment you read it. We built this directory so a Texas homeowner can compare pool builders on one page, with the facts in plain view. Every listing starts from public Google Maps records. A builder stays on the list only if the business is open, has real customer reviews, and is not plainly in another trade. Basic listings are free. Paid placements are labeled. If a detail is wrong, email us and we will fix it by hand.

Why this directory exists

Look for a pool builder on Google Maps and you get one category that mixes everything together. The company that builds the pool sits beside the weekly cleaning route, the leak detection van and the supply store. They all carry the same label, and you find out who does what by opening websites one at a time.

This directory does that reading for you. Every business here came from the public record, and then its own website was read for what it says it does: whether it builds new pools, which materials it works in, whether it remodels, offers financing or states a license. Businesses that turned out to be in another trade were left out.

Where a website did not say, the listing says "not enough info". We would rather show you a gap than fill it with a guess. Nothing here is a recommendation. Paid positions are marked where they appear.

How listings are vetted

Every listing starts from a Google Maps record filed under swimming pool contractor, or a business with a builder's name. We keep Texas businesses that are open and have at least one review, and we merge duplicates.

Then we read each business's own website. Where the site shows the business does not build pools, such as a cleaning route, a repair shop or a supply store, the listing is left out. Where the site confirms it builds pools, the listing says so and sorts higher on its city page. Where there is no site to read, the listing says "not enough info" instead of guessing.

Right now that is 1,143 pool builders in 73 Texas cities, last refreshed 2026-10-30.

Owners can claim their listing for free. Every claim is checked by a person: a real local business, a matching email domain or a call to the number on the Google listing. Paid placements are marked as featured, premium or best-of wherever they appear.
