If you want pool builders in Texas's Ellis County, Waxahachie has 11 companies on this page, and seven of them build new pools: A Oasis Pools and Outdoor Living, Method Pools, Gold Medal Pools, Venture Custom Pools, Texes Finest Pools & spas, Caporal Pool & Spa, LLC and Millett Pools and Outdoor Living. The other four mostly clean, repair or service pools, or their websites did not say what they build. Before you call, decide whether the pool is for a home or for a commercial property, because the list splits on that.
Start your shortlist with the gunite builders. Venture Custom Pools builds infinity edge pools, tanning ledges and water features, and lists gunite pools and spas.
For an HOA, apartment or business pool, the shortlist is shorter. A Oasis Pools and Outdoor Living, Gold Medal Pools and Venture Custom Pools take commercial work, according to their websites. If you already have a pool and want it remodeled or resurfaced, Method Pools, Caporal Pool & Spa, LLC and Millett Pools and Outdoor Living list that work.
Mind the distance. Gold Medal Pools and Tejas Custom Pools in Red Oak, Millett Pools and Outdoor Living in Ennis and Shamrock Pools in Lancaster are listed here because those towns do not have a page of their own. The rest sit in or near Waxahachie, in Ellis County. If your property is nearer to Midlothian, Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Arlington or Irving, each has a page of its own.

Soil is the first question in this part of Texas. Expansive clay moves with the seasons, so ask whether the design includes an engineered shell, piers or a deck with expansion joints. Hail season runs through the spring, and a winter freeze can split exposed plumbing, so ask about freeze protection on the equipment pad.
Think about financing and warranty while you compare. A Oasis Pools and Outdoor Living, Gold Medal Pools, Venture Custom Pools, Texes Finest Pools & spas and Millett Pools and Outdoor Living offer financing. Gold Medal Pools and Caporal Pool & Spa, LLC attach warranties, so ask each one what the warranty covers: structure, finish, equipment and workmanship. A Oasis Pools and Outdoor Living and Method Pools also remodel and resurface, so either can look after the pool after it is built.
Experience and reviews make a good first filter. Gold Medal Pools has worked in the area since 1997 and is rated 4.4 from 96 reviews. A Oasis Pools and Outdoor Living is rated 4.7 from 216, Method Pools 4.4 from 108 and Venture Custom Pools 5.0 from 45.
One name on the page does not build. Pristine Pool Professionals cleans, repairs or services pools and is rated 5.0 from 10 reviews. Keep it in mind for care after the build.
